ब्रह्मानन्दं परमसुखदं केवलं ज्ञानमूर्तिम्
द्वन्द्वातीतं गगनसदृशं तत्त्वमस्यादिलक्ष्यम् ।
एकं नित्यं विमलमचलं सर्वधीसाक्षीभूतम्
भावातीतं त्रिगुणरहितं सद्गुरुंतं नमामि ॥

_(Salutations to the Sad-Guru) Who is the source of Eternal Bliss, the Bestower of Supreme Joy, the Absolute, the Embodiment of Knowledge , Beyond Duality, Boundless and Infinite Like the Sky, Who is Indicated only Like Tat-Tvam-Asi (That-Thou-Art).
(The Sad-Guru) Who is unique, Eternal, Stainless, Pure, Immovable, & the Witness of the Intelligence of All Beings, Beyond the States of Mind, free from Three Gunas (satva, rajas and tamo guna); Salutations to that Sad-Guru._

हंमेशां सर्वोत्तम परमसुख देनेवाले, ज्ञानी का संपूर्ण स्वरुप धारण करनेवाले, अजोड और आकाश की तरह अनंत रुपवाले, जिनको सब लोग ´ये ही है´ करके पूकारते है – वो सत् गुरु को सादर प्रणाम ।
ऐसे अद्वितीय, पवित्र, सतेज बुद्धिवाले जो तीनों गुणोंसे (सत्व, रजस् और तमस्) निस्पृह है वो सत् गुरु को साष्टांग दंडवत् प्रणाम ।
